Charity & Community

At McCrea Heating & Air Conditioning, we live and work according to our code of ethics. We built our business on these principles and continue to uphold them at every location by having all new employees sign the code of ethics.

Among key values such as integrity and excellence, our code also includes “Contribute.” We’re dedicated to contributing our blessings to less fortunate members of our communities through donations and by volunteering our time and labor to meaningful causes.

One of the causes we support is Toys for Tots because all children deserve happy holidays. We also support The Shepherd’s Office in Georgetown, which regularly feeds people lunch and dinner year-round and provides food for as many as 400 guests each Thanksgiving.

In the fall, we set up donation boxes in the lunchroom and encourage employees to donate canned and packaged goods to spread the gratitude of the holiday season.

In 2023, we’ll sponsor our 10th annual McCrea Invitational Charity Golf Tournament at Creighton Farms, a private Jack Nicklaus signature design golf course. This event benefits the Rebecca Alt Lanhardt Foundation, which supports veteran organizations, scholarship programs, food banks, cancer charities, and local individuals in need.

Rebecca Alt Lanhardt made supporting these kinds of organizations her life’s work, and her foundation carries on this legacy in her memory.

McCrea Heating & Air Conditioning has been actively helping our local communities since our first office opened in Washington, DC, in 1936.

The health and safety of our communities matter, and we live by our commitment to making the world around us better than we found it. That’s how we’ve given back to these people and places we care about for 85 years, and we hope to keep it up for 85 more.
