Building a Better World
In our constant efforts to help our community, we’ve been able to raise and donate to causes close and dear to us. In 2020, we managed to raise $85,000 for the Norma Mae Huggins Endowment Fund for those afflicted with cancer in the West Virginia area. Our process for choosing a charity is done by polling our McCrea employees for which cause is most important to them.
This Year’s Charity Event Will Benefit…
The Boulder Crest Foundation! A leading foundation in the field of post-traumatic growth, the veteran-led foundation provides science-based interventions to heal, train, and advocate for combat veterans, first responders, and their families affected by trauma. They offer a variety of resources, including a selection of books, articles, and podcasts geared towards post-traumatic healing. The Boulder Crest Foundation also has a local retreat in our Bluemont community.
As we prepare for our 8th annual McCrea Invitational Charity Golf Tournament, we encourage anyone and everyone to join and be part of helping those in need. Event will be held September 27th, 2021 at 9 a.m.
