McCrea’s 5th Annual Invitational Charity Golf Tournament
This year McCrea Heating & Air Conditioning Services will be hosting its 5th Annual Invitational Charity Golf Tournament. McCrea will be giving proceeds from their charity golf tournament to Melwood Veterans Services, Operation Tohidu. Melwood Veterans Services is a local organization to help wounded veterans. Operation Tohidu is a retreat through Melwood Veterans that helps hundreds of male and female veterans each year by creating a safe and positive environment for relaxation and healing. “Tohidu” is a Cherokee word meaning peace of mind, body and spirit. This retreat is local to McCrea in the southern part of Maryland. In addition to the retreat, Melwood Veterans Services offers work placement, job development and training and support services for more than 2,100 people each year in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, Maryland, and Virginia. McCrea is excited to be giving the proceeds of the golf tournament this year to Melwood Veterans Services, Operation Tohidu. The event will be on September 17th, 2018 at Creighton Farms in Aldie, VA.
