Summary
The key liaison between McCrea and the builder, in charge of supervising and directing the construction crew.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain builder schedule for rough-in, punch-out, and registers & grilles
- Provide weekly schedule to Production Manager/RI
- Ordering houses/scheduling deliveries
- Layout of house (heats, returns, wall caps, fresh airs)
- Check equipment against the work order to make sure the correct equipment was ordered/sent to jobsite
- Short list & not delivered material check at layout time
- Contact Sub for rough-in
- Walk house for punch-out once complete
- Adjust cut sheets
- Turn in credit for leftover material
- Walk house before drywall installation
- Walk house after registers & grilles are complete
- Get with Engineering on all issues with field plans & layouts
- No more than 2 service calls a day
- Pick-up service calls by Friday. Fill-out tickets and sign them
- Any issues on service calls bring to production manager’s attention
- Communicate all field changes on plans to Engineering. No extras unless directed by Engineering
- Field “approved” changes – priced by production managers or management team
- Answer and deal with any issues brought to your attention by Trade Partners
- Schedule punch-out guys daily work
Requirements:
- Must have a good driving record
- Must be able to pass both a drug screen and criminal background check
